What is in the download
The ZIP contains eight PNG files, eight SVG files, a README, and a license. Use the PNG files for Discord uploads. Keep the SVG files as editable artwork so you can change colors, simplify a detail, or make a larger export later. The separate 32-pixel previews on this page show how the same drawings read at a small display size.
The PNG downloads range from 3,107 to 4,550 bytes. Every file has an alpha channel and a 128-pixel square canvas. These are actual measurements of the linked downloads, recorded in the file manifest. They are static images; this ZIP does not contain animated variants or a claim that still files will move after upload.
We drew the icons as original vector shapes for this guide, then rendered those sources to PNG. They are not copied platform artwork or results of an unrecorded AI experiment. The bold outline, shared palette, and large simple shapes are intended to keep the set coherent while each object has a different silhouette.
Give each image a useful meaning
- gift_thanks: use the smiling present for a gift, helpful answer, or generous act.
- star_wow: use the open-mouth star for surprise or an impressive moment.
- tree_hype: use the smiling tree when the community is ready to celebrate.
- cocoa_cozy: use the warm drink for a quiet stream, break, or comfortable evening.
- bell_hello: use the bell to welcome someone into the conversation.
- mitten_wave: use the mitten as a friendly wave or seasonal goodbye.
- ornament_love: use the heart ornament for appreciation and affection.
- snowman_oops: use the worried snowman for a small mistake, not a serious emergency.
These are suggested meanings, not mandatory labels. If your server already has a normal thanks emoji, keep its familiar name and give the seasonal version a clear prefix. For example, winter_thanks makes the relationship easy to understand. Avoid names that are so similar that members cannot tell which suggestion they selected.
Upload one PNG first
Extract the ZIP on your computer and open the png-128 folder. Pick one image as a control, such as gift-thanks.png. In Discord, open Server Settings → Emoji with an account that has the required permission, or use Add Emoji in the picker when that option is available. Select the PNG, give it a useful name, and complete the upload.
Use Discord's current upload instructions if the controls differ in your client. This article does not claim that we uploaded the pack to your server. You control the server, the available slots, and the final names.
Select the uploaded image from the picker and check it in a normal message. Look at the border on light and dark chat backgrounds. The blank corners should show the chat surface because the PNG has transparency. If you uploaded a screenshot instead of the actual PNG, you may have added a background that is not in the download.
Add the rest without filling every slot
Once the control image works, add only the reactions that your community will use. You do not have to install all eight. A small seasonal group of thanks, hello, and cozy can be enough for a server that already has a strong everyday set.
Keep a short list of the uploaded names and original filenames. This helps you remove a duplicate later or restore the same set next winter. If you need another output size for a different service, start with the PNG or SVG source and use the appropriate emote resizer. Do not repeatedly save a small chat screenshot as the new master.
Customize the set carefully
Edit the SVG source in a vector editor if you want colors that match your community. Keep the dark outline visible and check the result at small size. A decorative pattern that looks good at 400 pixels may become noise at 32 pixels. Save your changes under a new filename so the original free pack remains available.
For a mascot-based set, use the eight meanings as a brief and make new artwork with your own character. The Halloween pack guide shows another seasonal approach, and the emoji pack collection gives you more ready-made reactions. Keep the Christmas files and their terms together so next year's setup starts with a complete, usable archive.
