What we build
Original software for small, expressive images
MakeEmoji designs and builds the editing, animation, generation, and export workflows that power the site. The goal is simple: make a polished reaction asset without requiring a full design suite.
What we publish
Editorial help for real creation workflows
The editorial library is part of the product: it explains how to choose a workflow, prepare source art, meet platform limits, publish responsibly, and get better results from the tools.
Community standards
Public uploads are screened and reviewable
Community creations must pass automated image moderation before they can appear in the public gallery. Members can report public items, reported work can be hidden for review, and an internal moderation queue supports manual decisions.
Copyright owners can also send direct URLs and supporting details through MakeEmoji's dedicated takedown process.
Safeguards in the product
- Automated AWS Rekognition screening
- Manual approval, hiding, and rejection tools
- Member reporting and report-threshold review
- Dedicated copyright takedown intake
